First, you need to do is get a pre-approval so you know what will be able to afford. The easiest way to do this is to give me a call at 604 783 9097 and at the end of about 30 minutes, you will have an idea of how much you could afford to buy.
Second, you need to determine how much money you have for your down payment. This could come from various sources such as own savings, RRSP, TSFA, investments or gift from relative. And don’t forget that you may qualify for the BC HOME Partnership Loan that just stated getting offered last January 2017.
Third, you will decide when will be your closing date (the date that the property will get turned over to you. You have 120 days from pre-approval date to purchase a property but don’t worry if did not get to buy within that time frame because we could always get you pre-approved again.
